Health Passport
Helping combat the spread of COVID-19 in care homes.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the main challenges within the UK care home community has been around the testing of care worker staff, and who to give access to as they move from one care home to another.
Enduring Net, Blockpool and FinGo formed a consortium and in May 2020 the team were awarded a grant from Innovate UK with the monies used to create an innovative digital passport solution. It allows for a quick and simple identification and infection status, giving a red or green light for the movement and access to care home facilities by registered staff, residents and visitors.
Results

- Respects privacy and adheres to GDPR, deploying SSI principles
- Can integrate with national and regional databases
- Potential use in opening up cultural and live events, e.g. sports, music and festivals
